Action Figure Academy

The Action Figure Novice Course, taught by Seba Dom from the Action Figure Academy, is an amazing in-depth course showing how to add articulation to your sculpts and create action figures. Seba is a very talented sculptor who is a knowledgeable and passionate teacher. I learned so much from watching Seba work and problem solve throughout the course. He is very thorough in the videos and you get a great insight into his thought process as he creates an articulated action figure from beginning to end. Seba is always available to answer any questions. He has even made personalized video feedback, which is greatly appreciated. By taking this course I have gained so much knowledge in a short period of time. I'm very happy to have created my first articulated action figure using Shane Olson's 3D Character Workshop male base mesh. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn how to create articulated action figures. Not only do you get lifetime access to the course but also two 30 minute mentorship sessions. You also get access to a public and private Discord community to chat, share your progress, ask questions, get feedback, and view potential job opportunities. I am honored to have Seba Dom as a teacher and mentor on my action figure journey. I plan to also take his advanced course when it becomes available. Amazing course! This course dives into the basic understanding and fundamentals of action figure engineering.  Seba is a great instructor, he's super supportive and always keen to help and guide you along the way. I took the cost purely as a hobby, after completing the course I found the confidence to take on some small freelance projects. If you love action figures and want to learn how to make them, this is the perfect course for you. I had an absolute blast, the course is well paced and concised.  I'm really happy with the end results, this course has helped me tremendously in developing and honing this new skill. I look forward to the next course from Action Figure Academy!
